Popularity of names in Austria, 2015

We’ve waited for far too long, but now we’ve gotten word that, when combined with variants, Lukas and Anna keep their titles as the top Austrian names of 2015 (Lukas for the 20th consecutive year and Anna for the 19th consecutive year).

Here’s what the combined top 10 for 2015 looks like:

No newcomers to the top 10, but the most noteworthy change to the ranks would be Leon dropping by 3 places to 10th.
Newcomers to the combined top 60 are listed in ranking order: Kilian, AntoniaOskar, Erik and Ida – replacing Larissa, Charlotte, Clemens, Livia and Fabio.

Finally for this post, in the table below are 10 selected names from each gender that seen seen more often overall for babies and another 10 that are seen less often overall for babies (comparing 2015 numbers against 1984-2015 numbers).
